A pivotal moment came when he transitioned into safety. With his unique blend of operational knowledge and a genuine passion for preventing accidents, he excelled in this role. He led safety initiatives for a mid-sized company, improving safety records significantly.

Even in retirement, Dusty's dedication to the industry continues. He shares his insights through writing and podcasting, inspiring others to prioritize safety. His motto, "It's not how many hits you have in baseball that counts, it's how many times you reach home safely that counts!" encapsulates his lifelong commitment to safety and well-being.
